Brief Description:  Shop Modification

A number of things have caused me to adjust my build schedule. Medical Issues have dominated the month of July and will continue into Aug and Sept as well as a long time beyond. They've left little or no time for full or most days on the build. Having said that - Everyday I do manage to do something. Maybe only a single cut, fit, attach, etc. Other times I assemble material/tools and lay them out to be used when I get back to the project.

When I last updated I was rib-stiching...I actually enjoyed that...found it relaxing. I've since covered those strips with tape and have also now applied the UV coating - as well - on the Stab, El and Rud. I've also covered, rib-stiched the Fin and taped over the rib-stiches.

The Tail Wheel has been installed, although I do not intend to use it. It, as supplied, is a "castor" with a bar welded to it for turning control. I'll replace it with a real Tail Wheel.

It became necessary to adapt the shop to allow me to rig the A/C. I've removed a section of the wall between my shop and the other half of the garage and framed it in as large doorway. I can now put the Fuselage thru and attach the Wings for Rigging and positioning of Incidence and Dihedral as well as "N" Struts and Cable Sizing and set-up. Then the Airframe comes apart again and I can cover the Fuse and Wings with Fabric.
