While rigging the airframe on the Celebrity...I discovered that the two lower wings were not in the proper incidence angle. the left Wing trailing edge was up a good 3/4" higher than the right. I removed the Wing and checked the attachment plate and nothing had changed from when I last had it rigged before covering. I rechecked all of the Wings carefully and cannot explain the change other than to say I must not have had the angle correct on the initial fitting.
I had to cut additional access holes in the fabric around the mounting plate on the Left lower Wing and then remove the plate and build another with more surface so I could raise the mounting hole to lower the trailing edge. I then repaired the cut-outs with new fabric patches, painted them with dark and light filler paint. I will touch up the final Yellow color when I do all the final touch-up painting.
I have now added the Flying and Landing Wires and adjusted the "N" struts for proper angles and set up. Next is the controls.
