Brief Description:  Temporary hold on building - time TBD

I have decided to park the 601XL for awhile for a number of reasons. 1st I do believe there is an issue with the Wings or something affecting them and it will be resolved at some point in time by ZAC. The pressure to do so is mounting on them and the England. Dutch, and German demands only increase the pressure. They say that the work being done in those countries will not be applied to the US models and none of the changes demanded in England, as an example will be implimented in the US - but - I think that is going to be hard to avoid - sooooo - I'm going to stop until it is all worked out which I believe will be sometime this summer or fall and ZAC impliments adjustments in the US models. We'll see.

2nd - In the meantime...I have acquired a complete "fast build" Fisher Cleberity (Bi-Plane) with a factory welded Steel Fuselage. It contains all of the parts necessary to complete with very little work done. It is a 1995 Kit produced and purchased from Mike Fisher himself when he was selling those kits out of Ohio. It can use the same Corvair Engine I have for the XL and should be a fun airplane to build, own and fly. Low and Slow....it is a tail wheel so I'll need to take some take wheel training and get certified for it in order to fly. I purchased and picked-up the complete kit and it's now home in the shop.

I'll be working on the Cleberity until it's done and/or the 601XL issures are resolved and/or cleared up. I'm confident they will be....soon.
