Brief Description:  Fuselage Riveting Part 1

I studied the construction Manual for a couple of days and read ahead through the full Fuselage section. I found no reason why I could not do some deburring, prime paint and rivet a good bit of the fuselage that I have assembled thus far. That would allow me to reclaim the Cleco's I need to continue from here. That....or buy more Cleco's which I've concluded I just don't need to do.

Having said that....I pulled the sides off and removed all the interior parts I've attached to them and the forward floor. Pulled out the forward floor and prepared all of the parts for riveting. I was surprized to see how many parts I had added to this point....no wonder I'm out of Cleco's...no wonder at all.

I then put it all back together with cleco's and started riveting. I've elected to NOT rivet in the firewall - at this point - I need to weld up my rudder pedals and install them and the Brake Master and Slave cylinders and I believe it will be easier if I can remove the firewall to install them. So - it's set....it's clecoed and it can be removed or I can simply rivet it (and bolt it too) iin place when the time comes.
