Brief Description:  Trim Tab Elevator- Wing Forms

Short day today. Wanted to do the Elevator but I used up my full sheets of .016 with re-do's of errors caused by learning curve. The pieces I have left are either less than 2000mm long or less than 600mm wide. Did make the Trim Tab for that Elevator, however as I had enough .016 for that.

I also bent the Trim Tab, set up the hinge, clamped drilled and cleco'ed it as well

Wanting to do a bit more I moved to the Wing Section and started to lay-out the Rib (s) Forming blocks for the Flaps, and Ailerons. Got to use up my miss-layed-out Wing Rib Form Plywood. I try not to waste much.

I'll be able to do the Rib's and the skin for the Flaps and build them next. Lack of .016 will hold me up on the Ailerons like it's doing on the Elevator. I'll wait to order more Aluminum until I can build a larger amount of Aluminum needs before I order. I currently have 4 full sheets of .025 and half of .030, 040 and enough of the .063, .090, and .125 to move into the Wings. I also may switch to .020 instead of .016 for the skins calling for .016 as I see on the Zenith List that it's an approve swap and improvement with little weight penalty. If I do.....I'll redo my rudder and Stabilizer too. I think I'd feel better about them if I do that and the builders that have used it claiim it makes a far better job of it.
