Yesterday and I assembled the parts I had laid out on Friday 4/4. By that I mean I drilled and cleco'ed them together. I did not like the fit and match. Seems I was a bit off (again) on my forming of the ribs both in marking and bending. Today I dis-assembled what I put together yesterday and remeasured everything. My spars and doublers are right on. Ribs, a bit off, I remeasured the form and it too was a bit off (oversize) so I cut it back to exact numbers, redressed it and cut new aluminum from scrap pieces (I had enough) measured them several times and remade the Ribs...all 6 of them. Much better. I clamped, drilled and cleco'ed them together. Alas..I moved forward to exactly where I was yesterday when I quit...more learning.
I'm waiting for another small shipment from A/C Spruce on small pieces of the thicker aluminum so I can't build the Fuse mount's - front and rear spar attachment points until I get that order. I did match up my skin, however and marked it then drilled the spar holes for the bottom.
