Brief Description:  Cut rough cut Sitka into cap strip

I purchase my rough cut 1x12 and 2x6 Stika spruce from MacBeath hardwoods in SLC, Utah. I was able to grade the wood in their warehouse and made sure it was all 1/4 sawn and had the correct rings per inch to be able to use it in an aircraft. I first ran an edge over my planer to get a nice edge then started sawing it up on the table saw then ran it through my planer to get the correct 1/4x1/2 dimensions. I did find a few pieces after milling that I had to discard due to flaws in the piece or grain.
