Brief Description:  FAA inspection complete, A/W certificate issued!

Blew snow (again!) and went to airport about 10 AM. Inspection was scheduled for 1PM. Still had to cowl her up and review certification paperwork. Plenty of time, or so I thought. Al (FAA) arrived at 11! Had just finished putting those blasted pins in the top cowl, when I was asked to remove them again! Al did the physical inspection, and made a couple of minor suggestions. Then we did the paperwork. My friend Bill is correct - "Airplanes don't run on gas, they run on paper!"

After Al left I double checked the prop pitch and installed the spinner permanently (I hope.) Secured a couple of wires under the hood. Left the top cowl off the airplane for the carb balancing, should it ever get warm enough. Below zero predicted next few days.

Feeling good, now that this major milestone is behind me. Thanks for all the good wishes from out there!
