Weigh-in was cancelled due to unavailability of scales. Removed avionics bay cover and swapped EGT leads in the 25 pin D-sub connector. Found the D-sub housing would not hold the pin in one of the holes. Fortunately Bill had one in stock.
Smoothed the canopy arms where I had cut them back to allow access to the screws. Will need touch-up there. Filed the forward edges back as well, but they still hit. Going to ask Bill's opinion on deforming the metal a bit to get it out of the way. Drilled the drain hole in the bottom of the canopy duct.
In the afternoon flew an instrument lesson with Bob Sob and his new GPS.
