Brief Description:  Finished right skeleton, started skins.

In the morning I borrowed two more hands from Carolyn, and between the two of us we were able to get good rivet sets on the three AD4's that had to be squeezed holding the actuation bracket to the spar. Used the squeezer die that I had ground the side off of, with a washer, similarly modified, behind it to get enough depth to clear the flange. This was one of the toughest riveting jobs of the whole project so far. Today I came to the realization that if God wanted men to build airplanes, He would have designed us with four arms!

After church I finished the right flaperon skeleton, using the hand riveter. Prepped the aft skins and clecoed in place. Started on the forward skins when I noticed a defect in the A-1201B-R middle forward skin. See photos. Looks like the machiine that makes the holes hiccuped and tried to punch a couple of extra holes. I'll send the pictures to Van's and see what they recommend. So I've done about all I can do until the power rivet puller comes back. Meantime I'll begin inventory of the fuselage kit.

Later - after conferring with Van's by email, I decided to keep the part, and fill the indentations just before painting.
