Brief Description:  Cut out fiberglass, glued foam blocks.

Flew an instrument lesson with Bill in the AM. Nice day for a change. On the way home got a copy made of the big canopy template print.

Heated up the shop while rough shaping the foam blocks. Carolyn came up and used her superior fabric skills to cut all the fiberglass cloth. We also used the template to place the vinyl tape on the glass. Used some blue tape I had laying around. So much more pleasing to the eye than dull old black.

Found my old West System pumps from about 20 years ago and disassembled and cleaned them. Got them working with the new resin and slow hardener. Mixed a small batch of epoxy and flox and glued the foam into place. Threw a few chunks of green wood in the stove to keep the shop warm for the epoxy curing.
