Brief Description: Prepped nosegear and compass for tomorrow.
Sanded (150) filler from yesterday.
Opened the Dynon box and removed remote sensor. Prepped the sensor brackets and attached to sensor box. Noticed that it would be impossible to rivet in place with the long brass screws, so cut them back. Staged all mounting parts for tomorrow. Stowed all other avionics components in house.
Assembled entire nose gear so it is ready to bolt on fuselage tomorrow. Set the nose gear rotating beakaway force to 26 lbs as specified. Seems high, but that's what the instructions say.
Al miller stopped by for a preliminary look-see, and so I pulled off the rear window and side skins so he could see inside. Noticed that I have a few drops of epoxy to clean up off the floor. Will have to pry them off and repair the paint. Hope it didn't get behind the paper on the panel.
