Brief Description:  Sanded foam blocks and plexiglass.

Put in a short work session between church and the Super Bowl. Not one of my better sessions. Made a long sanding block by glueing some 80 grit sandpaper to a piece of 2X4. Worked the left foam block down a ways but it was slow going, so I used a hack saw blade on the right side to remove a bigger chunk of material. Of course that was a disaster, as I gouged out too much foam. Had to mix a batch of epoxy and microbubbles to fill the void. Hit the thin foam around the mounting bolt on the left side and knocked off a chunk. Had to glue that back on.

Used 80 grit paper to scratch up the plexiglass where the fiberglass will be bonded. That really hurt, after being so careful NOT to scratch the bubble! Still trying to figure out exactly how this fiberglassing is going to work.
