Brief Description:  Received the autopilot kit and started install.

Daughter Jane was here from France over the weekend so didn't get into the shop except to show off the project. I did order some soft aluminum tubing from Aircraft Spruce to make a new fuel pump to shut off valve fuel line. I'm not happy with the way I deformed the old one trying to bend it below the flap handle. Probably OK but not satisfied so will make a new one.

Fedex delivered the Autopilot Kit today on the third try. Phew! Opened and inventoried the kit. All good except one defective AN3-7A bolt - I'll get one at the FBO. Put away all the small parts.

Used a small hand saw to cut the rib hole. I'll borrow a right angle drill from the FBO to drill out the five rivets and make the #30 and #12 holes.

Prepped and primed all the metal parts that came in the kit.
