Brief Description: Finished wiring, started flight controls.
Spent three hours in the morning doing catchup tasks, leftovers from the fuselage kit, and various deferred items. One thing I did was to install nutplates on the bottom of the center instrument panel as suggested by Tony T. This will make it much easier to remove the instrument panel in the future. Tony and I are going to jail together.
Mid-day was consumed by snow cleanup - we got about 8 inches from the big storm. Heavy stuff, tough to move. Freezing rain followed. Put the Christmas tree on the stand and brought it inside to melt the snow off.
Got back to the shop about 4 PM. Picked up all the tools and stowed leftover parts from the wiring. Moved on into Section 32, Flight Controls. Installed the brake fluid reservior and clamped the brake lines. Then went ahead through the next several pages and pulled out all the parts that will be needed to start building control linkages. A few need to be deburred and primed, and then it looks like fun!
