Brief Description: More work on tank, went back to wiring.
Brought the tank up from the house. The warm environment really helped promote the curing process.
Cleaned up some of the misplaced sealant from yesterday. Mixed a small batch (60/6 grams) of sealant. Sealed and installed attach angle to rear skin. Had quite a job squeezing the AD4 rivets at the top. Sealed and installed nutplates on the Res Sender Plate. Finished sealing rivet and other openings on the firewall. Clipped and filed stems from a couple of rivets that broke off in the wrong place. Now the tank goes back in the house for a few days of curing before I do the trial install and start cutting the filler hole. Cleaned up the sealant mess, put away all the tools and cleaned up the shop.
Went back to wiring in Section 31. Hooked up the FT-60 and the fuel pump. Ran into a snag on Page 31-04. There appears to be a hole missing on each side where the spar pin wiring goes. Emailed support with pictures.
