Brief Description:  Assembled/sealed about half of the tank.

Mixed a batch of sealant and began tank assembly. Completed steps through baffle installation. Mess not too bad due to good organization. Definitely need lots of small rags at the ready. Put in a couple of wrong rivets and had to drill back out. Used leftover sealant to seal most of the rivets in the firewall. My little labels with the holes punched in them worked well to limit the mess around the rivets. Made more of them for tomorrow.

One tool that I used to good advantage was the vetinary syringe I bought at the farm store. Although it was hard to push due to the thickness of the sealant, it made it possible to get a uniform bead along the edges that were to be joined.

Tomorrow morning I will start early and mix a second batch of sealant and have at the back of the tank and the sight window. Will also finish up the firewall sealing.
