Brief Description:  Discovered longeron misalignment problems.

Installed the remaining nutplates on the canopy ribs, panel base, and instrument stack angles. Clecoed the canopy ribs and panel base in place to the upper firewall to check alignment of all components before drilling and riveting to the longeron ends. That's when I found that what I had previously thought was a minor misalignment of the longerons was too big to pull in with the other components. Thought about the possible fixes for a while and determined that I would have to drill out some of the side skin rivets to separate the longerons from the skin in order to attempt to increase the inward bend of the longeron ends.

Went to Schenectady with Carolyn to visit her Uncle Jack in the hospital and on the way back I picked up a couple of metal straps at the hardware store. Back at the house I found some cable, clamps, and other stuff with which to jury rig something to bend the longerons.
