Finished drilling operations for rudder pedals. Greased and assembled all rudder and brake parts. Clamped rudder assembly to end of workbench to get proper perspective on how it will be mounted in airframe. Installed 45 and 90 degree brass elbows on master cylinders.
Cut brake line material and fabricated all lines. Used an old hotplate and cooking pot to boil water to assist in assembling the line end fittings. Installed and tightened the cross feed lines and the lines that will go to the fluid tank. Installed the lines that run through the tunnel and will go to the gear legs. For now the rudder/brake assembly goes on the shelf until interior painting is done and the finishing kit wiring goes in.
Did the end-of-section shop cleanup and tool put-away. Played around with the masking tape and paper to see how much work is going to be involved with preparing for interior paint.
