Brief Description: Tested interior paint, began seat backs.
Waiting for care package from Van's with new rudder pedals and fuel sensor mounting bolts. Meanwhile, I bought a couple cans of possile interior paint from WalMart. Primed and sprayed a couple of test strips to get a look at results. My friend Bill Milton (The 195 Factory) thinks I should look at spraying a two-part interior paint because it is tougher. I'm thinking about it. Spraying with the exhaust fan running and a hairless fit of my mask proved to solve the fumes problem.
Carolyn and I picked out interior vinyl and fabric from the samples Abby sent us. The vinyl is a dark blue and the fabric is a light brown with sort of a tweedy look. Should be nice with the probable white/blue exterior. Have to let Abby know about the logo.
While waiting for the new parts I moved on to the seat backs section, which is a stand-alone. Fabricated and deburred all the smalls parts, started deburring the backs themselves.
