I've been concerned about spraying primer in the shop like I did last winter. Over the summer I was able to do it outdoors, but now it's getting too cold. Today I removed one of the shop windows and cut a piece of plywood to fit the opening. Then cut a hole the size of my old square floor fan, and mounted the fan in the opening. Also built a cover to use when the fan is not in use.
The fan can be used as an exhaust when painting, and as ventilation in the summer. It pulls a lot of air out of the shop if I just open the door a crack.
After consulting with the FAA doctor who runs an occupational medicine facility I am planning to shave my beard before I do any more painting to get a better seal around my ventilator mask. It's only hair.
