Brief Description:  Dry fit fuselage members including longerons.

Spent a lot of time recontouring the longerons. When laid on the flat workbench it was obvious that the bends that I had put in the horizontal plane had resulted in deflections in the vertical plane. Worked both longerons many iterations back and forth from the flat surface to the vise for bend adjustments. Also reworked the opened/twisted ends, where due to my over exuberance the other day I had introduced some bulges and too wide spreading.

Pulled all the parts for pages 23-03 and 23-04, and deburred. Then proceeded through all the steps on those two pages, assembling the fuselage side frames, using clecos instead of rivets. When the longerons were added to the assembly, amazingly enough, they fit quite well. However, the twisted ends appear to be still opened up and twisted too much.

Next I will prep the side skins and dry fit them to the assembly. I think this will tell me how much I have to squeeze the angles and adjust the twists. I'm optimistic that if I'm careful I can make the longerons work. They don't have to be pretty, just structually effective.
