Brief Description:  Completed Section 21, center fuselage.

We were supposed to fly over to Block Island today, but the weather was rainy, windy, and cold out there and we didn't go. I spent the day off and on in the shop instead, as well as digging out and checking my camping gear for Oshkosh.

Prepped the step floors and F-1207B bulkhead, deburred, and primed. Installed lots of nutplates and snap bushings, and riveted the parts on to the assembly, thereby finishing the Section 21 Center Fuselage assembly. I love finishing a section - gives me a good feeling of accomplishment. And this was a big section - 20 pages!

I had to enlist Carolyn's help to install the systems block studs that go up through the bottom skin. Took one of us under the fuselage and one on top to hold the nuts.

Notice on the picture that I reconfigured the work tables today to place a gap in the surface so the bottom of the assembly can be accessed. Used a couple of 1X4's to strap two tables together a foot apart.
