Brief Description:  Tool trouble, worked on wing skins.

Had a pretty low productivity day. Had a lot of trouble with the Taylor rivet puller, finally called them and discussed problem, got some suggestions. Thoroughly cleaned tool and adjusted as instructed. Works better now but not perfect. The mandrels that used to fall out easily now have to be encouraged to leave. Only recourse seems to be to send the tool in for service, and I REALLY need it at this stage of assembly, so will live with it working the way it does.

Pulled the rest of the rivets in the outboard and inboard skins, then prepped the wing walk doubler and test fit it. Seems to have a big gap at the bottom, so will need to bend the edge inward. Putting a message out on the forums to see how others handled this. Also wondering about priming the mating surface of the two skin pieces.

Was in the shop several hours, but estimate only a couple of hours productive time.
