Brief Description:  Worked on Horizontal Stabilator Spar

10 below when I walked to the garage at 9 AM. Fired up the woodstove and got to work. Deburred the forward and aft Hoizontal Stabilator (HS) spars while the shop warmed up. Primed the two spar caps and all the small parts. Clecoed the spar caps, ribs, and spacers together per diagram (I thought). Started to rivet, discovered I had installed the top spar cap upside down, so the countersunk holes were down, not up. Duh! Drilled out 8 countersunk rivets with absolutely no damage! Maybe that's not so good, because it means I am getting a lot of practice fixing mistakes! Reassembled and riveted correctly. Continued work on spars, horns, and counterbalance components. Dissasembled components, installed nutplates, and deburred all holes.A lot of work today without a lot of visible progress

Next comes a lot of assembly and riveting of the HS spar box assembly.
