Brief Description: Repaired, finished AST's., worked on HS parts.
Very carefully drilled out the remaining AST control horn flush rivets. Got them out without further damage using the #41 drill that Marty recommended. Figured out a way to clamp the parts together firmly for riveting. Drilled out the two elongated holes and countersunk for AD4 rivets. Re-riveted parts. The one with the oversize rivets is not cosmetically perfect, but it will not show when installed, and is structurally strong. Completed remaining steps in the AST section and put both tabs away.
Went back to work on horizortal stabilator (HS). Fabricated, drilled, countersunk, and deburred a bunch of small parts.
