Brief Description:  Completed vertical stabilizer, worked on AST

Blew snow again this AM. Got to shop about 10AM.

Checked VS over very carefully. Noted one tiny area of skin deformation near top of front spar. on one side. Decided it wasn't worth removing entire skin to correct, and the bump is already there and probably wouldn't go away anyway. Tiny, tiny defect and I will be the only one ever to see it. Riveted entire VS without incident. Mounted forward skin with specified screws to confirm good fit. Mounted upper hinge bracket and torqued bolts to 25 in/lbs after reading torque wrench instructions. Another new skill! Put completed VS and rudder away out of harm's way.

Drilled and deburred Anti-servo Tab (AST) ribs and skin. Riveted top skin. Fabricated control horns and clecoed in place. Tomorrow - finish AST's and get organized for Horizontal Stabilizer.
