Unclecoed and removed vertical stabilizer (VS) skin. Deburred all skin edges. Re-contoured rib end tabs. Set aside vertical stabilizer components awaiting arrival of "wedge" tool from Van's. Fabricated rudder spar caps and hinge brackets. Drilled, deburred, clecoed rudder horn. Attempted to temporarily assemble rudder to VS to check fit, but don't understand instructions. Will try to get clarification on VAF tonight. Moved on to drill, deburr, and cleco together all remaining rudder skeleton parts.
