Brief Description: Reworked brackets, worked on VS spar
After receiving feedback from other builders, I reworked the two hinge brackets. On one I squeezed the rivets tighter and more agressively deburred the edges and corners. On the other I didn't like the looks of the whole thing - it didn't seem like the pieces came completely together surrounding the bearing - so I drilled out all five rivets started over. Agressively deburred and smoothed edges. Tomorrow I'll prime the parts, clamp together, and re-rivet. Clecoed and match drilled all the remaining holes in the VSspar. Tomorrow I will take the assembly apart, do all the countersinking, debur, prime, and final assemble.
