Brief Description: Installed reg/rec in new location
Asked Van's for revised plans for new reg/rec location per latest kits. They would not send plans. Got plans from a fellow builder. Moved unit to new cooler location under the avionics bay floor. Sealed off original blast tube hole. Drilled new hole in firewall to run shieled alternator cable through. Rerouted DC output wire, and control wire. Sealed openings with RTV, re-secured wires with cable ties. Used heat transfer paste when mounting unit.
