Brief Description: Began inspection & modifications.
Engine runup and compression checks were previously done. All cylinders exhibited 2 psi drops when tested at 85 psi.
Removed all covers and inspection plates. Replaced AST arm bolt with one size shorter. Trimmed AST hinge pins to same length. Checked engine mount washers for contact with mounts. Checked coolant hoses where they contact engine mounts, found minor wear. Bill helped me figure out how to use two clamps as a stand-off, see photo. Started to loosen the gas tank & filler neck.
