Brief Description: Checked wheel alignment, confirmed bad FT-60.

Met Bill early at the FBO to rearrange the big hangar. In addition to other moves we put the '12 in the maintenance hangar and Bill's 195 in my T hangar for the time being.
Flew another instrument lesson with Bob this morning, very windy and rough. After lunch used Bill's wheel alignment tools to check toe-in/toe-out. Wheels look great, as far as alignment goes, so I will not be adding any shims. I will just live with the slight pull to the left for now. Possible causes: engine torque even at idle, heavy (fat) pilot on left side, wind (always a favorite excuse), slight rudder out of trim. Who knows. I'll proceed with flight testing and see if it seems to be a real problem.
Pulled the tunnel cover and checked the FT-60 fuel flow transducer connections. All good. Checked power to red lead and ground continuity. Good. Then Bill came up with a good idea. He has an old flow transducer lying around, so why not clip-lead it into the circuit and try it. Viola! Fuel flow indication on the Dynon. Having thus confirmed a bad FT-60, I called Van's and ordered a replacement. If the weather cooperates, I will fly test hops next week without the flow meter, and replace the defective one when the new one comes in. Leaving the tunnel cover off for now.
