Brief Description:  Installed seats, began work on data cable.

Screwed down the seat pan cover. Installed the anti-skid strips in the cockpit, used hair dryer to get good bond. Installed the Velcro strips and the seats.

Cut off the data cable in the tunnel and removed the wire and 9 pin connector. Removed the instrument compartment cover. Cut an opening in the instrument compartment floor and mounted the 9 pin data connector using left-over small countersunk rivets. The serial to USB converter, or a serial cable extension, can now be conveniently plugged into the Dynon. Removed the 25 pin connector from the Dynon, identified, and removed the pins for the data (2) and ground connections. Crimped female pins on the three wires on the data cable.

Next session I will check continuity and insert the new pins into the 25 pin connector.
