Brief Description:  Hooked up engine controls, heat proofed cowl.

Hooked up the throttle and choke controls. Fitted and installed the heat shield material to the inside of the lower cowl. Installed the lower cowl to check positioning of the muffler.

Removed the cowl and tightened the exhaust pipe nuts, locking in the position of the exhaust system. They still need to be torqued. Removed the muffler retaining springs one by one and applied the RTV inside and at the ends.

When the lower cowl was installed I noticed that the sealing strip on the radiator interface was not seating well on the outboard surface. Added more RTV and secured the strip in tighter to the surface. We'll see if that helps.
