Brief Description: Worked on engine controls, odds & ends.
Trimmed the right corner of the top cowl where I had previously spliced on some additional fiberglass. Achieved a nice tight fit. Cut the duct seal strips and bonded to the duct interface. Mixed a small batch of flox and filled the cleco holes in the lower cowl.
Installed the throttle and choke control cables. Called Carolyn up to the shop to be my gopher while I was all curled up in a ball struggling with the cable clamps under the instrument panel. Didn't help that I had used the wrong screw and mounted it into the wrong nutplate previously. Quote of the day while I was contorted into the little cockpit - "So why is it we're not building a ten?"
Mounted (with some difficulty) the double adel clamps holding the cables in front of the firewall.
