Installed and removed lower cowl & duct many many times. Marked and trimmed, marked and trimmed, etc. etc. Called Van's to confirm necessity for trimming top of flange on duct to fit under hinge, and to get permission to cut the duct and install a bulge to provide clearance for #2 exhaust pipe spring.
