Did a lot of outdoor work, then got in the shop for a couple hours. The lower cowl, when mounted by itself is about 1/2 inch off to the side at the nose. Spinner does not line up with the contour of the upper cowl. Don't want to force it over due to cautions about doing that in the instructions. Shaved about 1/8 to 1/4 inch off the left rear near the top, tapering down to the bottom. Fits better but still not correct, and now I have a gap along the back edge where I shaved it too much. This is not going well. David was a big help holding one side, and lending me his good eye. Looking for better luck in the AM when I am not tired.
