Brief Description:  Installed pitot tube and worked fiberglass.

Assembled the block that holds the backside of the pitot tube. Managed to dimple the tube without breaking through. Rerouted the plastic tubing per directions, although not without kinking it a couple more times. That irritates me but I guess no harm is done since it straightens back out without apparent damage. Installed the assembly to check fit and then removed the tube because I know very well if it is left sticking out the front of the airplane I will bend it over sooner or later.

Made the spinner cutouts for the prop blades and finished both the spinner and the filler blocks to be used later. Sanded down the first coat of epoxy and applied the second coat with a foam brush.

Deburred and primed both prop mounting plates.

After lunch I sanded down the third coat of resin previously applied to the tail cone halves. Used the orbital sander and hand sanding with the new Norton paper. Works great and does not load up. Got a good start on the top cowl - sanding down coat #2 of resin.
