Brief Description:  Installed drip trays, prepared to hang engine.

Installed the carb drip trays without incident. Had a heck of a time getting the bottom banjo bolt reassembled after turning the assembly upside down. CJ came up and helped me.

Got out the rubber engine mounts and associated hardware, and pre-assembled. The sleeves slipped easily into the mounts on three of the four, but the last one is a very tight fit. Couldn't get it all the way in even squeezing it in the vise, so had to postpone hanging the engine. I'll take it to Bill's shop at the FBO tomorrow and see if he can squeeze it in a press.

Rigged the engine in Kurt's hoist and gave it a test lift. The hoist is going to make this job easy.

Was going to drill the engine mount bolt holes up to the specified 3/8", but noticed something wrong with the way the nose gear plate fits up against the firewall. It is not flush. Later checked the drawings, Page 22-02, and it seems I didn't use the correct CS4-4 rivets in the four lower holes under the nose gear plate. Must have had a brain freeze that day! Will need to remove the nose gear and correct this before going ahead. Hope to do that and hang the engine tomorrow.
