Brief Description:  Finished left wingtip light.

First thing in the AM David and I swapped the wings. Right wing back on the rack in the garage and left wing on the work tables. Cut the hole and proceeded to work on the light installation. Mixed the flox using fast hardener and let it cure over a heater while I had lunch.

Resumed work and completed all steps for the left wing. Dave found three open rivet holes while we were handling the wing. Oops! Fixed them.

Dave and I then moved the left wing back to the rack, and moved the fuselage back into the shop. Then we used the block and tackle hooked overhead to lift the engine out of the crate and onto one of the low work tables. Now I'm ready to finish the fuselage part of the lighting kit and start wiring the FWF kit. Looking forward to that.

One little issue today - when we rolled the right wing there was a telltale rattle inside. I think I forgot about the backsides of those three rivets you have to drill out for the light kit. Trying to think of a way to get them out without removing the wingtip extension, which is now glued in using the tank sealant. Maybe they will just have to stay there - after all there are no moving parts in the wingtip for them to catch in.
