Brief Description:  Worked fiberglass parts, finished FWF inventory.

Cancelled trip to Morgantown due to AM fog. Came home and worked in the shop. Sanded down the canopy fairing again and also the wingtip extensions and the tail cones halves. Wasn't as bad a job as I had anticipated. Yesterday's overly heavy coating came off quite well with the orbital sander and 100 grit paper.

Mixed a three pump batch of epoxy with the slow hardener, and used a little of it to make a thin micro mix to once again fill a few low spots on the canopy fairing. Could this be the last time? I hope so. Used the new squeegees to coat the tail cone halves and the wingtip extensions. I think I am getting the hang of this. Mixed a second two pump batch and coated the cowl halves. The score card for epoxy skim coats now reads: Extensions 3, cone 2, cowl 1. Sure hope all those little pin holes are getting filled!

Finished inventorying and stowing away all the parts and pieces of the FWF kit. Man, there are a lot of parts! This kit is going to take a while. After the big count, only one nylon washer and some rivets are missing, both of which I have extras left over from the earlier kits. I don't know why they keep sending so many rivets with each kit. I have way more than I'll ever use. They must be cheap!

Loaded up the wood stove to promote the epoxy cure.
