Brief Description:  Worked fiberglass, started FWF inventory.

Sanded the tail cone and cowl parts with 100 grit paper to remove the shine. Sanded the cowling fairing once again since it was hard enough today. Let the dust settle while I had lunch. Picked up the shop to free up some work space.

Mixed a three pump batch of epoxy using the fast hardener, which is all I had left. Used a little to make a wet micro mix and patched a few more low spots in the cowling fairing. Then brushed the epoxy on to the tailcone halves. Tried to squeegee it but the squeegees I had were too rough so I brushed on a thin coat with a disposable brush. Before I even finished the second half the epoxy started to set up and get think and gooey. Had to stop. Made quite a mess. Looks like I'll have a bunch of sanding to do to recover from this misadventure.

Called Carolyn, who was in Albany today, and sent her to West Marine to pick up some more epoxy and slow hardener. She got some new squeegees as well.

Started the inventory of the FWF kit. Finished all the big pieces and got part way through the little bags.

Flying in the morning, then maybe some shop work in the PM.
