Brief Description:  Worked on wingtip extensions.

Woke up to a half inch of snow on the ground, and we had squalls all day. Welcome to springtime in the Adirondacks!

Picked up the tools and buttoned up the baggage area after yesterday's realignment of the flaperon control bolts.

Trimmed both wingtip extension mouldings back to the trim lines. Used the Dremel cut off disk to get close, then fine tuned the cut using the orbital sander mounted upside down in the vise.

Drilled the rivet holes in the moulding and deburred. Mixed a batch of epoxy/flox and applied it to the fiberglass. I don't quite understand the reason for that step, but I followed the instructions as best I could. Put some wood on the fire to assist the curing process and called it a day.
