Checked the canopy fiberglass, but it was not hard enough to sand.
Cut out the holes for the landing light and nav lights. Used the Dremel cutoff disc to rough in the holes and trim the lens. Finished the edges with files and sandpaper. Made all the mounting holes. Used the special one-hole countersink tool to do the plexi holes. Deburred and primed the light kit metal parts.
One thing I did that was not in the plans was to cover the exterior of the plexiglass to prevent scratches during working and assembly.
