Brief Description:  Flaperon controls, gas tank, baggage area.

Disconnected the flaperon control linkages, removed, drilled, and deburred. Sounds easy, but it is not so much fun due to tight spots for the bolts. Installed the plastic hole grommets and bolted the flaperon linkages back together. Got out the baggage comartment covers and discovered I'd painted the wrong side of one of them. One of those humbling moments. No big deal, sprayed the correct side and hung it over the stove to dry. Installed the rear fuselage corrugated cover and both baggage compartment floor covers.

Installed the gas tank and hooked up the bottom pipe connections. Painted the filler pipe with the interior paint and left it to dry. Installed the shoulder belt cables.

Got the side skins down from storage and clecoed them in place. Will rivet them so they will get painted, but leave the glass out for now. Hope I don't have too much trouble slipping the glass in place when the time comes.

Thinking seriously about using the PTI paint kit from Aircraft Spruce. Mark M. has volunteered to do the spraying.
