Rearranged the garage and shop. Brought the canopy and the cowl halves back into the shop to prepare for rework,washing, and epoxy coating. Moved the wings onto work tables and later saw horses out in the garage. Installed the flaperons to the wings. This is for test fitting to the fuselage and flaperon control alignment and installation. They will have to be removed again for paint.
In response to a VAF post, I checked the holes in the upper forward fuselage skin where they had been dimpled for the attachment screws. Found no cracks but did see a lot of rough edges. Used the new countersink bit to deburr the inside of the holes. Hopefully this will prevent future stress cracks from radiating out from the holes.
