Brief Description: Cleaning fuel system

Searched my supply of miscellaneous springs, found one that will fit gascolator. Reinstalled quickdrains. Installed gascolator bowl without filter, flushed a gallon of gas from both tanks through open gascolator quickdrain, left tank clean, right tank minor debris. Good strong flow both sides.
At next work session, I will add fuel and repeat flush on right side, then flush from gascolator into carb. Need to remove carb bowl drain plug first, it has resisted efforts to loosen it so far. Once fuel system is back together, I will test for carb drip in three-point and level flight attitudes. If drips occur, then carb will have to come off for float bowl level adjustment.
Just in case I need them, I downloaded a document from the “Fly Baby” club website that contains Illustrated Parts Breakdown, Technical Supplements, and Service Bulletins for Carburetor Model NA-S3A1. Also, a detailed document about how to make a tool and set carb fuel level, which I printed out and saved on my iPad. Also a full color schematic diagram from the Ercoupe website.
