Brief Description: Began left elevator rebuild.

Unexpectedly had an extra couple of hours at the airport. Drilled out all the rivets on the left elevator, and popped all the welds. Discovered strange tubular stiffener, and way overkill doubler on spar.

Left elevator bottom w/tube.

Spar with old huge doubler.

Bottom rib - cracked.
