Brief Description:  Planning/Organization tasks for final push.

“Flew the Desk” today….

Reviewed “vintage” reference material in two binders (that are literally falling apart), ordered new binders and index pages from Amazon.

Cut up a bunch of 8.5 X 11 paper into half sheets and printed Cessna 120/140 Operation Manual from C120/140 club website. Ordered small binder and separator pages from Amazon. Similarly, printed EI FP-5 Operating Instructions for the book. This will satisfy the requirement of carrying an “AFM” in the plane with Operating Limitations. Ordered aircraft logbook to match the new engine logbook we already have.

Revised draft checklists to include starting procedures as specified I the Ops Manual and make other updates and additions.

Called Spruce again. Nick called back and told me Hooker refuses to cancel our order and give us a refund. Missing parts are at least two weeks out. I asked for partial shipment so we can proceed with the installation. That is apparently not normally possible per STC procedures. I asked for an exception to that rule due to the extenuating circumstances.

Rewrote proposed fuselage 337 language in a simplified form and sent to Bill for review/approval.

Added detail and re-ordered our “to-do” list to front load everything else that can be done before seatbelts and aileron pulley repairs.
