I used the standard method of 1" square steel tube to raise the fuselage bottom off of the table so I didn't start a major fire during the bending process (see the first picture).
I made all of the blocks that I was going to need to get everything bent correctly, then just got at it. My wife helped by lifting when required and slide the appropriate blocks in. Quite an easy job, actually. I was pleasantly surprised.
After the bending was done, I got to work building the gantry to jig up the top of the fuselage (see the third picture).
